Pricing + billing

How much does Breeds cost?
$28 a month on the 12-month plan. $33 a month on the 6-month plan. Five items per box, shipping included in the US.
When am I charged?
Once a month, the day your box ships — not the day you sign up. The first box ships with the next cohort after signup.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Email us and we’ll close the plan after the box you’ve already been charged for ships. We’ve never made anyone fight to leave.
Can I skip a month?
One tap from the Notebook. Useful when you’re traveling, or the toy basket is already overflowing.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. US-only at launch — we’re keeping the supply chain tight until the first hundred boxes settle.

The box

What's actually in a box?
Five things, picked for your dog’s size band — standard, medium, or mini. The mix shifts every month: two treats, a toy, a grooming item, and a health item. See the Example box on the homepage for a recent one.
My Doodle has allergies. Can the box handle that?
That’s half the reason the Doodle box exists. Single-protein and novel-protein treats by default, no chicken hiding third on the label, and the Notebook tracks what your dog reacted to so it never ships twice.
What size Doodle does the box fit?
All three bands — standard, medium, mini. You tell us the size at signup and every dosed or sized item ships accordingly. A mini and a standard get different boxes.
What if my dog doesn't love something?
Tell us in the Notebook. We swap it next month for something else. No restocking fee, no email loop, no fight.
Why Golden Doodles only?
Because the coat, the ears, the allergies, and the separation thing are a specific dog’s problems, not “all medium dogs” problems. We’d rather serve a smaller community deeply than a bigger one shallowly. The manifesto goes long on this.

The Notebook + the people behind it

Is “Ashley” a real person?
She is. At sign-in you pick the version: AI Ashley — written by AI, trained on fifteen years of Bark data, with the team at Breeds reading along — or Ashley herself, who reads every message and replies at a human pace. Same notebook either way. We don’t deflect when you ask.
What lives in the Notebook?
Every dog gets their own page — a running file of what we know about them. The size band, the protein that doesn’t itch, the mat spot behind the left ear. The file thickens. The boxes get sharper.
Is my data shared with anyone?
No. Your dog’s file stays between you, Ashley, and the small team behind Breeds. We don’t sell, syndicate, or license the data.
Are Doodles actually hypoallergenic?
Low-shedding is real. Allergen-free is not — no dog is. We say it straight because allergic households deserve the honest version before they commit to a dog or a box.

Getting in

Why is it invite-only?
We’re starting with a founding cohort so we can learn with them before scaling the supply chain. Every member of the cohort can invite five Doodle-owning friends — that’s how the next ring grows.
How do I get an invite?
From one of the founding partners on the homepage, or from a member already inside. If you don’t know one, tap any of the founding partners and they can sponsor you.
